Funding

Funding is one of the most, if not THE most, important factors in the renovation and restoration of historic buildings and sites. The programs and companies or organizations we've listed here are separate entities from Preservation Oklahoma, Inc. Some of them are administered in whole or in part by Preservation Oklahoma as indicated. We have included links to their respective websites when possible so that you can research those that might best fit your particular situation. However, due to the complexities and varying requirements of these programs, all inquiries about them should be directed to Preservation Oklahoma. The process will go much smoother when we can make sure that everything is clear and complete and your project qualifies for the type of funding you are looking for. Please do not attempt to complete or submit any funding application without first contacting Preservation Oklahoma as your request could be delayed or rejected completely. We have attempted to categorize them by project type. Again, if you have any questions about the type of funding and whether or not it fits your needs or situation, please contact us. It should be said that often the most available source of funding is your local bank and family and friends.
