2009 This Place Matters Tours of Homes and Places
Preservation Oklahoma's Community Partnership Program encourages local community organizations, such as preservation societies, historical societies, civic groups, museums, or Main Street organizations, to consider collaborating with POK to develop "This Place Matters Tours or Lectures" in their community. This new partnership program assists both the local community group and Preservation Oklahoma in creating awareness and understanding of the unique characteristics of our local communities across the state. For more specific information about the Community Partnership Program, please access that page on the POK website. Inaugural tours were held in Muskogee and Alva during the spring of 2009.
